Refund policy

At MADÉ, every box is freshly baked to order for your chosen collection slot. Because our madeleines are made fresh and perishable, the following terms apply to online orders.

Payment. All online orders are paid in full at checkout, in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).

Click & collect only. Online orders are collected at our boutique — G/F, 54 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong — on your selected date and time slot (morning or afternoon), during pickup hours 11:00–20:00. We do not ship online orders.

Cancellations & refunds

  • You may cancel and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 24 hours before your selected collection slot.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the slot, or orders not collected (no-show), are not eligible for a refund, as the items will already have been freshly prepared for you.
  • To cancel, email hello@made-frenchmadeleines.com with your order number.

Something wrong with your order? Please tell our team at collection — we'll make it right on the spot.

Refunds. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 days.

As freshly baked, perishable food items, our products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once collected.

The 24-hour cancellation notice is calculated from the start of your selected collection slot (Hong Kong time). Uncollected orders are held until the end of your selected collection day.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26): if a product is defective or not as described, you remain entitled to a remedy.
